The Role of Meaningful Activity
For most of long-term care history, providing meaningful activity has been viewed as a role fulfilled by an activity department. Such thinking could not be farther from the truth. This presentation explores what constitutes meaningful activity, its crucial role in our lives, how each person in an organization can and should focus on it, and how it functions as the key to operational effectiveness.
This monthly training is for all caregivers that work in the Treasure Valley providing care in homes, Assisted Livings, or Skilled Nursing Facilities. If you have any questions please call Mike Briggs at 208-996-4000. The first 25 caregivers will be sponsored by Keystone Health and MorningStar Memory Care at Englefield Green. Every caregiver after that will pay $10.00 cash or check made to A Mind For All Seasons at the door to Eric Collett.
Please RSVP to Mike Briggs by email mbriggs@keystonehospice.org ASAP.
