So we have some exciting new things happening at Veranda. I’m excited to announce our first ever “Walk Down Memory Lane.” We will be hosting a walk that will feature booths along the walking path each decorated in the theme of a different decade. 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, and on through 2010! If your company is interested in having a booth please email me (brittany@verandaseniorlife.com). The 20’s, 50’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s have already been claimed, but if you’re interested in any of the remaining decades please let me know! After the walk we will have a barbecue, live music, and fun games so feel free to bring the family! This event is open to anyone in the public who has been affected by Alzheimer’s and Dementia, or anyone who wants to volunteer and adopt a resident for the walk.
