Placeholder imageMember Spotlight - Cody Freston, Seniors Blue Book

January's member spotlight is on Cody Freston. Cody is the owner and publisher of Seniors Blue Book Idaho. He's also a partner in All Stops Non-Emergency Medical Transportion. Oh, and he's also the current Board President of the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Idaho AND is Co-Membership Chair on HAPPEN's board. It might be safe to assume that Cody does not have an abundance of spare time.

Cody's particularly excited about Seniors Blue Book putting out their sixth print edition on April 1st, 2016. Seniors Blue Book provides a semi-annual printed and online resource to seniors, their families, health care professionals, and others that make decisions on the behalf of seniors.

Cody was drawn to healthcare from a very young age, serving as his high school's HOSA chapter president. Of the healthcare field, he says, "it is an industry filled with kind and compassionate individuals who are genuinely interested in helping others in any capacity they can."

Cody says he was introduced to HAPPEN five years ago, before even lived in Boise. He says the "deliberate and outreaching kindness of the group immediately drew me in and I knew I could relocate here and have a great network of colleagues and friends."

When asked about any hidden talents other HAPPEN members might not know about, he said, "I can clap with one hand... all this and I can cook, too!"

You know, in his spare time.
